Dr. Benjamin Bell received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry. After dental school, he attended a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in Dallas, Texas at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. He returned to Louisiana to receive a certificate in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Bell and his wife reside in New Orleans and enjoy supporting the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans.
Dr. Frederick Beringer graduated from Zachary High School (1966), Louisiana Tech (1971) and then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (1974). He received a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Beringer feels privileged to have served as a dentist for 40+ years and had the opportunity to help people to better oral health. “To see someone achieve a level of health from my dentistry is a powerful responsibility I take seriously. It’s all about service,” says Dr. Beringer. Dr. Beringer is an intrepid traveler and enjoys photography and golf.
Dr. Richard Bertetti was born in Andover, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tulane University in 1996, his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in 2003 and completed his training in Oral Surgery at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan, New York in 2014. Dr. Bertetti enjoys tennis, football and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Dr. Favaloro earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. He performed a one-year Army internship and has been in continuous private practice for over 40 years. Dr. Favaloro has been married for 45 years and has five children and 11 grandchildren. He loves fishing, hunting, and is restoring a vintage 1972 Airstream Travel Trailer so he can visit all of his grandchildren in style.
Dr. Merrell Irby Frampton is a Baton Rouge native and a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. She earned her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in 2007. At LSU, she was on the Dean’s List and a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Dr. Frampton went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she was a member of Student Government Association and C. Edmund Kells Honor Society. Dr. Frampton also received her certificate in orthodontics from LSUSD. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Her hobbies include anything outdoors, cheering on the Tigers, and enjoying the seafood of south Louisiana.
Dr. Daniel Gonzales was born and raised in Metairie and is one of five children. He attended LSU in Baton Rouge and then immediately went into Dental School at the LSU School of Dentistry. “You could say the LSU spirit runs deep in me and my family,” says Dr. Gonzales. During his time off, Dr. Gonzales enjoys running, reading, spending time with friends, and frequently visiting Disney World or just traveling. “My goal is to treat all my patients with kindness and compassion, both with their oral health and overall health. That is of the utmost importance to me.” Dr. Gonzales also enjoys spending time with his family, making his patients smile and getting to know them.
Dr. Kaitlyn Hawkins was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Southeastern Louisiana University. She continued her education at LSU School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Hawkins enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dog, and traveling. Dr. Hawkins also has an identical twin!
Dr. Irby is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University, and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Lacoste was born and raised in the New Orleans area. After graduating high school from The New Orleans Academy in 1972, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 1980.Dr. Lacoste is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the New Orleans Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He always finds time to be with family and friends, and enjoys fishing and playing music.
Dr. Keith Luminais is a Louisiana native who has been practicing dentistry since 2007. His enthusiasm and knowledge have made him a patient favorite, and he’s proud to bring his brand of quality family dentistry to the Gonzales and Denham Springs areas. Dr. Luminais is active in continuing education programs and is committed to keeping up on current dental advances and techniques. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, Louisiana State University, and LSU Dental School. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Luminais is also an avid outdoorsman.
Dr. Archie Melcher grew up in Metairie, Louisiana and graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School, Louisiana State University, and LSU School of Dentistry. He enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking, and cheering on the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Melcher is grateful for the opportunity to provide dental care to his fellow Louisianans.
Dr. Moncada was raised in Miami, Florida, where he attended Florida International University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2002. He then attended Boston University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he practiced general dentistry in the Boston area and was appointed to the position of Managing Clinical Director of a group practice.His quest for knowledge and understanding of dentistry led him to pursue a three-year highly specialized program of periodontal and implant training at Louisiana State University. During his residency, Dr. Moncada dedicated much of his time to research involving the genetic factors of aggressive periodontal disease, as well as clinical studies involving early placement of dental implants. His research and studies helped shape his belief that periodontics is the foundation of dentistry. Dr. Moncada is committed to providing optimal and comprehensive treatments that restore the mouth to a healthy state free from gum disease.Dr. Moncada is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Louisiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and served as Vice President of the Hispanic Dental Association. He and his wife, Jennifer, are active Uptown Lions Club members and enjoy getting involved in projects dedicated to rebuilding and preserving New Orleans’ music and artistic culture. They are proud to call Louisiana home.
Dr. Sean Owens is originally from St. Gabriel, Louisiana, and is married with two sons and a daughter. He earned an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2006 and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2011. He then completed a hospital-based General Dental Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham-Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in 2012. In 2016, Dr. Owens completed a 300 hour 1-year Dental Implant Externship with Stony Brook University of New York/Dental XP. Dr. Owens has varied interests in the field of dentistry, including dental implant surgery and site development, third molar exodontia, periodontal surgery, and IV Sedation. Currently, Dr. Owens serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the LSU General Practice Residency. He is faculty and co-clinical director for the LSU Dental Implant Continuum. He is also a Board Member for the Louisiana Academy of Continuing Dental Education. Dr. Owens has served as President for the Louisiana Academy of General Dentistry, and for the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association. Recently, he was awarded the Kathy Uebel Scholarship Award from the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration. He has earned Fellowship Status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and is a member of the Baton Rouge Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Schott is a New Orleans native and graduate of Jesuit High School, Louisiana State University, and the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. His mother is a teacher, his father a dentist, and he has three sisters. Dr. Schott has completed a General Practice Residency program with the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He is a musician who plays several instruments, and he is also a fan of Saints and LSU football and Pelicans basketball.
Dr. Trauth was born and raised in Boutte, LA, and graduated from Hahnville High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology, as well as minors in chemistry and psychology. He continued his education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD) where he was a member of many organizations. ln order to stay up-to-date on all the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, Dr. Trauth maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association and the Louisiana Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Trauth enjoys Fishing, hunting, and everything else the Sportsman’s Paradise has to offer. He and his wife, Abby, are avid Tiger fans and love spending time with family and friends. They are active residents of the community, participating in charitable and fundraising events whenever possible.
Dr. Willis is a native of the Baton Rouge area, where he graduated from University High School. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Willis is a family and cosmetic dentist who performs a wide variety of dental procedures, including crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, dentures, and cosmetic bonding. He is an active member of the Baton Rouge Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He attends regular meetings and seminars and is working towards earning a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Willis’ hobbies include golf and playing guitar, as well as LSU football and baseball.
